DISCLAIMER: Vibration Magazine endeavors to cultivate essence teachers and writers with a variety of viewpoints and backgrounds. But Pansy is unique; we aren't quite certain what to make of her. If you have the same concerns as the readers below, you might want to seek a second opinion before taking her advice.

Dear Pansy,
How much Rescue Remedy do I use on my nervous cat so I can groom her?
Concerned in Cincinnati

Dear Concerned,
It depends on how big she is and whether you dilute the essence or not. If you pour it on her undiluted and she's a big cat, you might need a couple of bottles. Be cautious as she licks it off her coat, however, because some cats are mean drunks.
Love and Light, Pansy

Dear Pansy,
I looked at a couple of books in the health food store where I bought my remedies, and they both said that brandy needs to be added to the remedies in order to preserve them. I put four drops of the remedy into a snifter of brandy each night at bedtime, but I don't seem to be progressing all that fast on my problem. Is this enough brandy to be effective, or should I be using more?
Potsy in Peoria

Dear Potsy,
It's an individual matter, of course, but I find that the more brandy I use, the less my old problems and issues seem to trouble me.

Dear Vibration,
click to read or post to our message board about vibrational/flower essencesI happened across Vibration Magazine a few months back while searching for VIBRATORS on Google. I got so excited about the essences in your May issue that I had to try twelve of them. Then the August issue arrived, and there were 15 more that I needed. Now, what with taking all 27 of them several times a day, I hardly have time to do much else, and I'm running out of money for essences. Tell me, is there any end to these essences, and what is the upper limit of how many I can take at once?
Enthused in Encino

Dear Enthused,
Dr. Edward Bach insisted that people shouldn't take more than four remedies at a time, but then he was writing back in the 1930s. Those old rules no longer apply, because anyone who reads the news regularly can see that humanity has evolved light years since then.

Being highly evolved myself, I have been putting 50 of them in each dosage bottle ever since I started using the essences six months ago. (So many remedies, so little time!) Of course, such a lot of issues got stirred up at once that I had to quit my job in order to process them all.

That turned out to be a blessing in disguise because now I am a freelance writer--my lifelong dream--and have already published three articles, if you count this one. (Please write to the editors of Vibration and tell them how much you love my work so they will keep me on.)

Love and Liposuction, Pansy

Dear Pansy:
I took my first dose of flower essences the other day. No fewer than eleven Ascended Masters approached me and said they had been watching me. As I took the essences, they nodded their approval. I think this means that I should become an essence maker. And that my essences will be more powerful and wonderful than any ever made. I don't have any experience in the field of holistic healthcare, but I am sure that doesn't matter. Do you think I have the right stuff to open an essence company?
Wondering, in Wonderland

Dear Wondering,
Oh, you've found your niche all right. There are essence makers who haven't even spoken with eight Ascended Masters, much less eleven, yet were inspired to make 10,000 essences in a year's time. Even though they didn't know what most of them were for, they courageously went ahead and formed companies, published catalogues, and put up web sites.

In a field like this, I sense that someone of your caliber will really stand out. Still, just to be sure, I'll have my Ascended Masters get back to your Ascended Masters on the question.
