White Clover Essence: Acceptance of That Which Is

by Deborah Bier, M.Ed. Reprinted from The Encyclopedia of Vibrational Essences. The essences mentioned on this page are made by Whole Energy Essences.
clover really IS a legume, isn't it? you can see by the flower structure this is soIn lawns and fields, several types of clover grow in great abundance in several regions of the world. A preferred browse by many animals, it has been imported from Europe and grown for feed. Like all legumes it improves poor soil.

Clover is one of the banes of the perfect-green-lawn worshiper. Like some of its fellow scrappy weeds, it grows where other plants will not. This is a very successful methodology for overtaking lawns grown in poorly nourished soil. A non-conforming scoundrel along with its sister pests crab grass, plaintain, dandelion, and a few *$%# others, it threatens the precious homogeneity of the coveted sea of uniform, uninterrupted green blades of grass.

Clover is as common as...well...as common as dirt. Often, we give what is common little notice because it is so widespread. That goes for whether it is a commonplace resource or a commonplace problem -- we ignore the typical and ever-present due to over-exposure.

But what a mistake to bypass a treasure in our midst! I like to operate on the premise that everything we need to easily grow and thrive is readily available to us...especially when it comes to our common, everyday needs. Within each part of the world, the plants which easily grow and thrive in the same environment in which we live can lend us some of their bounty for our health and well-being.

Using vibrational essences made from these plants (as well as herbal and essential oil forms for those which lend themselves to those preparations) can help us address some of our most basic complaints. The theme of "acceptance" (or a lack thereof) is about as common and basic as it gets. Allow White Clover to help you come to peace with accepting that which is.

Spotlight on White Clover (Trifolium repens) Essence

Focus: "Acceptance"

Questions:

  • I struggle with denial.
  • I cannot accept what has happened.
  • I am hard on myself and/or others.
Clover head in full bloomStruggling against the inevitable? Blind to an uncomfortable reality? Denying what you refuse to believe? Ouch! Surely, this is a formula for tying one's self up in knots!

White Clover knows to accept the good with the bad, the hard with the soft. Instead of fighting what we dislike, we can allow it to be sweetened by what we love. It makes the sum total bearable, acceptable. The need to desperately deny a painful truth is less charged with urgency. As a result, we can find greater peace with what has come into our lives and move on. Traumatic events, difficult situations, and impossible people are somehow less of a problem. When we accept them for what and who they are, we learn to heal and let them go.

The same goes for how we feel about ourselves, too. Self-acceptance allows us to relax, permitting us to drop the critical stance and love ourselves "warts and all."

This acceptance means we no longer have to control every situation. Being in control of everything--or even just trying to be--takes an enormous amount of energy which could be devoted to other causes. Not to mention the stress involved in pursuing an impossible quest! Clover knows we don't have to understand or approve of everything around us; we only have to accept and acknowledge that which we cannot change. The Letting Go blend is a good complement here.

Crimson Rose ("Here and Now") also reminds us part of acceptance is being present to what is real, not living in fantasy or denial.
