Our Third Anniversary Issue

by Deborah Bier, co-Editor of Vibration Magazine

Visit the June 2000 Issue of Vibration MagazineWith "Wonderful Weeds," Vibration Magazine marks its third anniversary. Cunningham's Rule for Magazine and Newsletters (named for co-editor, Donna Cunningham) states: "If a publication can make it beyond its second birthday, then it's for real."

We are, therefore, "for real"....despite the fact this ezine is virtual with no hardcopy edition. Does that make us "virtually real?" Who can say in this strange Internet world where it seems so many of the old rules don't work anymore?

During the past year we have grown in many ways -- more strong contributors (see our Frequent Contributors' Pages....more original artwork....the introduction of our Virtual Booklets....more sponsors and subscribers from around the world....more mentions in other publications, both on and off the 'Net....portraits of our frequent contributors....more subscribers....and more praise from many quarters. But don't just take my word for it -- click on the cover images from the last year's editions (they are displayed throughout this article and link to our last four issues) and find out for yourself. Can it get any better?

see the September 2000 issue of Vibration Magazine Well, actually yes -- it can with YOUR help. Please fill out our Reader's Survey and let us know what you think would make Vibration even stronger. And do consider contributing an article for a future issue. Be you an essence practitioner, maker, or consumer...an accomplished writer or a newbie...please share your knowledge and experience with us. See our writer's guidelines for more information.

visit the December 2000 issue of Vibration MagazineWe hope you will find our upcoming issues interesting. The August issue will have a suite of articles on non-flower essences--vibrational remedies like gem elixirs, environmental essences, animal essences and other inventive formulas from the fertile imaginations of our essence colleagues. November's issue will have a theme of essences for the workplace.  Later in the year, we envision an issue on essences for common healing herbs. We would welcome other theme suggestions from our readers.

Visit the February 2001 issue of Vibration MagazineJust a year ago, we came up with an innovation that met an important educational need if the field when we published the first of a series of Virtual Booklets on topics that come up frequently in our pages. The VB's already published are: Bach Remedies, Essence Practitioner Education, Astrology & Essences, Essence Making, and the Essences of Australia. Our upcoming Virtual Booklets will be about essences and children, essences and non-human animals, and more.

Another development in the course of this year is that our editors, Deborah and Donna, are more and more our graphic designers as well. Drawing from sources like ArtToday and Micrografx , we have delighted in custom designing most of the graphics in recent issues.
