Welcome to the pilot issue of Vibration Magazine!

welcome flowers! We, the editors of this journal -- Deborah Bier and Donna Cunningham -- welcome you to our first edition! This publication is dedicated to the exchange of information about vibrational/flower essences of all kinds on a non-partisan basis, favoring no particular company or maker of essences. Our mission is to educate both consumers and professionals about the wide range of uses and effectiveness of essences.

This is the place to come to find out the latest information on vibrational/flower remedies, and the great work from the best writers, passion!practitioners, graphic artists, and essence companies available. We hope to help consumers make better choices, practitioners be better helpers, and make better-known the work of all essence companies. We will not limit ourselves to just flower remedies, but will present essences made from ALL sources, including (but not limited to) gems, animals, celestial bodies, light, places, etc.

We think of this journal like a garden of essences...come stroll through the pages and see what earthly delights are in store for you. The Internet presents three important reasons why it is the perfect medium for this journal.

Firstly, essences are a world-wide phenomenon, and the Internet is an amazingly rich way to connect all over the world. Essence makers come from everywhere and global interest in essences is quickly growing, too. The 'Net makes communication about this subject fast, easy, and accessible in a way no other medium can.

Secondly, vibrational essences are a gift from nature. And the Internet permits us to present this beautiful, full-color publication in a way that is in harmony with nature. We use no paper, dyes, or fuel for mailing/distribution, permitting Vibration Magazine to make a smaller negative environmental impact than would a paper-based magazine. Not even electrons were harmed to make this journal!

And lastly, the Internet is a special medium in other senses as well--primarily the sense of sight! You'll note that rather than page after page of identical vanilla backgrounds with black fonts, we've opted for a medley of font and background colors for our articles. Coming from a background of color healing, Donna has selected colors that relate to the healing agenda for a particular essence or group of essences. Where available, we will also heighten your attunement to a particular essence by illustrating the article with photos or drawings of the flower, gemstone, environment, or substance the particular remedy is based on. We're delighted with the array of graphics and photographs that artists from all over the world have graciously allowed us to use. If technology ever develops scratch and sniff homepages, you can bet we'll draw on your sense of smell, too!

We really want to hear from you about what you want to see on these pages! If you'd like to contribute to this journal, see here for more information. We will start out publishing new editions quarterly, though if the demand and number of submissions permit, we may do so more frequently.
