Affirming Common Ground: Wild Strawberry Fruit and Flower Essence

By Deborah Bier, M.Ed., maker of the Whole Energy Essences.
Family battles come in many shapes and sizes. However it manifests, there are no winners when it comes to a warring relative seeking to prevail over another. The style of conflict and contention...divide and conquer..."I'm right and you're wrong" tends to get handed down from generation to generation.

But how to call an end to war? It can take work, committment, time and practice at mediation skills. And, of course, essences can be an adjunct. Wild Strawberry Fruit and Flower Essence helps mediate differences between any seeming opposites, helping those with differences discover they may have much more in common than in conflict. This opens the way to new possibilities of family closeness, harmony, and peaceful resolution of conflict.

Wild Strawberry Fruit & Flower (Fragraria virginiana)
"Male & Female Balance"

Statements:
  • I don't get along with men (or with women).
  • I am uncomfortable with how I am treated due to my gender.
  • Parts of me are overpowering and I want to moderate them.

Strawberry plant in bloomGender balance can be struck in relationships with others as well as within ourselves. Respect, harmony, and admiration between the two gender energies is a powerful way to call a truce in "the war between the sexes." Or between any seeming opposites, for that matter.

This essence is one of only two of the Whole Energy EssencesTM which contain fruit energy, and this is the only one made from both a fruit and a flower. Both of these plant structures contain male and female components, the fruit being a further evolved state of the flower. It is the result of fertilization: the coming together of the genders.

Affirming common ground between contesting parties is a powerful technique in mediation, and one to which Wild Strawberry is devoted. This does not mean that all disagreements vanish. Rather, this approach highlights and testifies to the places of concurrence. It is from here that those involved will work through their differences to a real peace. This is true whether the project at hand is between people, groups, nations or characteristics within the self.

Wild Strawberry looks to create and accentuate accord between those who may not see eye-to-eye. In cases where there is too much of something and not enough of its compliment, it moves toward balance by moderating the overwhelming aspect. This is not the same approach as strengthening the deficient characteristic in order to harmonize better with the stronger one. Turn to the Gender Harmony combination to call forth and enhance a missing or weak complement.

If the project at hand focuses on a relationship or relationships, donšt forget that essences can be helpful for everyone concerned. However, all it takes is one person to change and change will enter into the system as a whole.

Male or female energies may be worked with directly by turning to either the Iris or Mulberry Fruit essences respectively.
