When love unravels, it often succumbs to one of two conditions: indifference or anger. While these may seem to be very different conditions, the first can stem from the second. Indifference can be the outcome of long-term anger that simply burned too hot where love had previously kept us happily warm. The relationship simply burns itself out.
When hostility sets the tone in a relationship, resentment heaps upon resentment. Over time, rage can consume so much emotional energy between the involved parties that there may not be enough goodwill left to repair the damage. The right use of well-balanced anger can be healthy--even healing--between beloved partners. Good relationships find ways to turn anger into occasions for new growth and added intimacy. Whole Energy Essence's Yellow Loosestrife can help free us from the anger rut while preserving our ability to experience anger in harmony with our loving nature. (Loosestrife is pictured here on the border.) Yellow Loosestrife - "Recover Anger"Key Statements:
"Whoa!" you might be thinking as you read this. "Why would I want to recover my anger!? I've got so much already I could scream!" But recovering anger doesn't mean you have more of it. Yellow Loosestrife speaks to the habits of anger--either being angry all the time or constantly suppressing anger. In fact, we have found greater contentedness and less easy anger--not more--from its use.
Constant resentment and hostility can eat away at both us and those around us. Blowing up at every little thing is destructive and life-sapping. Yellow Loosestrife helps us save our anger for what really deserves it, allowing us to express it in a more even, less negative way. For those who have come to believe through trauma that it is never good to show anger, Yellow Loosestrife can also be of aid. Repressing anger and resentment is just as destructive as showing too much all the time. Instead of pushing down and silencing these feelings, Yellow Loosestrife supports us as we learn to speak up and create positive change through our anger.
Anger has sure gotten a negative rap, and it's too bad because well-balanced, righteous anger is a powerful force for good. Well-placed anger which is acted out in positive ways can be a catalyst for healthy change. It's the destructive things we do with our anger which are negative, not anger in and of itself.
