by the Editors of Vibration Magazine
We do not invite--but regularly get--misdirected questions and comments from our readers, some of
which are so unusual we wanted to share them here.
See our answers to more serious questions about essences elsewhere in this issue in a companion article called "Our Readers Write".
There is so much confusion about just what essences are and aren't. And you can certainly see this reflected in our mail. The most common confusion is between vibrational essences and essential oils (hey! if you've read this far and don't know it: they are NOT the same thing!).
Another typical confusion is with Essence Magazine (http://www.essence.com). We can understand this somewhat as the URL is so similar, but once a reader actually sees our site, it is difficult to believe it could STILL be mistaken for Essence.
Below we have excerpts of some of our more off-target (not to mention amusing) email. We hope you enjoy them as much as we do.

Could you please send me info on this year's Chicago Blues Festival? Who's
playing?
I was going though your magazine that I got in the mail to day. I found
your web sight. I hope this e-mail gets to the wright person.

I notice that Fashion Fair does not advertize in your magazine. Does
Revlon and Maybelline cosmetics have total rights in your magazine? If
would be wonderful if Fashion Fair decided to advertize in your
magazine.
I enjoy your magazine.
Inquiring minds wants to know.

I am an editor of a magazine about essential oils and found your magazine.

Hi my name is [withheld to protect the unattentive]. I heard that you
are giving away n'sync tickets.
I looked on your Webster and nothing was there. I am going to
write down what I need, but can you tell me any way.

I am an aromatherapy practitioner and I love your magazine! Aren't
essential oils the best?
