We invite--and regularly get--questions and comments from our readers, some of which we share with you in this issue. Sorry: we cannot promise to answer all inquiries. Email the editors at vibration@essences.com.

See more from our electronic mailbag in this edition of Vibration in a companion article called "Our Readers Wrong".

Dear Vibration:
I have only just now been able to have a good look over the entire September Issue and just wanted to congratulate you on an absolutely wonderful job. It REALLY is beautiful. I just love the graphics you have used throughout. You both deserve a big pat on the back.
Best wishes from Jenny in Australia

Dear Vibration:
Seven hundred thank-yous on behalf of all of us who are interested in the stinky plants but don't have the fortitude to mess with 'em! Sauromatum sounds like an essence that almost all of us could benefit from.

Dear Vibration:
I am an associate polarity therapy practitioner. Polarity Therapy is a discipline that combines body work and energy work and draws heavily on the ayurvedic model. It combines marvelously with the use of flower essences.
Best, Jen

Dear Vibration:
Congratulations on your beautiful web site. I think it's the best I've ever seen. The illustrations are just wonderful and the information more than just useful.
Thank you, Sheila

Shiela: Thanks for the lovely note. If you wish to subscribe so you don't miss any issues, see here: http://www.essences.com/vibration/subscribe.html.

Dear Vibration:
Hi! Just happened upon your site. I am looking for Ragweed essence. My husband successfully used it all last year for his allergies. I can't find the place I bought it from. They may be out of business. Any ideas?

Go to the July, 1999 issue of Vibration magazine. Look at the article about making essences and consider making one yourself.
Good luck, Deborah Bier, M.Ed, co-editor, Vibration Magazine

Dear Vibration:
I am looking for a flower essence that would speed up my brain. Currently reality is going at a faster pace than my brain can process and I feel that I accumulate backlogs in my mind.

Do you have an essence that addresses this issue? I tried your search but it yielded no results.
Thanks and best wishes -- Francois

I'm not sure I would say an essence will speed up your brain, but you may find one which helps you more smoothly relate to mental tasks. Sometimes, slowing DOWN helps with this as being too fast and scattered may only make things worse. One way to approach this is to look for essences which aim for healthy mental or cognative processes, and for clarity of thought. Also, ones which focuses on a distorted sense of time (i.e., things seem to move too fast or too slow) could be helpful.

Of course, you may find the specific symptom of "reality is going at a faster pace than my brain can process" may not yield the best essence choice. The symptom is so rarely the cause of the difficulty, and it's important to go beneath the surface and explore the problem more deeply. Are you distracted by emotions which are absorbing your concentration? Do you have an interest or passion for what you are trying to mentally process, or are you bored? Are you taking on too many things to do and think about than can reasonably handled? These and other similar questions could get closer to what is really going on for you and therefore could yield a more on-target essence. For more on essence selection, see here and herel.

Additionally, an essence practitioner in your area may be able to help you further: the WWES listing of practitioners around the world is here.
Best, Deborah Bier

Dear Vibration:
I found a site called the World Wide Essence Society, from which I clicked on a link to get to your site. I am an essence maker and practitioner and what I want to do is join the WWES. But I could find no place to inquire about joining on your website. Can you give me any information about this? I will truly appreciate any assistance you may offer.
Linda

Thanks for writing. The WWES is the publisher of Vibration Magazine. We do not have "members" or a way to join. We are a loose affilation of people interested in essences.

As an essence maker, you can list your company on our resources page (http://www.essences.com/wwes/resources.html). Instructions and cost are at http://www.essences.com/wwes/add.html. Practitioners and educators are listed for free; instructions are on the aforementioned page.

You may also want to consider sponsoring a page in our magazine or on the WWES site as it will reach exactly the type of person who might be interested in your products at is is very reasonably priced. You can find the info about sponsorship at http://www.essences.com/wwes/sponsor.html.
