This repertory is designed to be a guide. It should help you to narrow the list of likely flower essences. To use it:
- Identify the issue or issues that you would like to address
- Find the corresponding symptom(s) in the book.
- read the annotations and jot down your short list of possible remedies, say three to ten
- If you are not familiar with the remedies, go to the sources of the more detailed descriptions of the flower essences
- Then select your remedy or remedies

Editor's Note: What is a Repertory?
For those not familiar with this type of index, a repertory helps distinguish one remedy from another, using symptoms or situations (as in this excerpt below) as a guides. Each repertory listing is not meant to be a full or exhaustive description of an essences' action. Rather, it only states how it applies to the particular symptom or situation under discussion.
You can see, there are many diffferent types of emergencies, many types of reactions to emergencies, and many remedies which help emergencies, each with nuances. Using a repertory helps the reader find the closest remedy matching the need at hand.
We have chosen to offer the "Emergency" entry here -- like all repertories, this book has dozens of other entries.
