Leaving old paradigms behind, this is an invitation to open more consciously to the teachings of nature as she sings continuously of unity and wholeness. Her basic message is that the idea of separation is an illusion. There simply is no separation as we share the same earth, the same air, the same water, and the same fate with all living beings on earth. After years of working with flower essences, I see this clearly in my own life as nature extends her invitation over and over again to join the party she is throwing. Since we are here, we might as well join in consciously seeing nature, and becoming intimately involved in hearing her sweet songs. And, as we open our eyes, it is so obvious how gently and truly she loves us. How can this not be so, since we find ourselves in the midst of such a wondrous and beautiful playground?
 However, somewhere along the way, there was a forgetting of who we are and a mis-identification of our real selves. We forgot that we and nature are one, that the playground is us. We might even go as far as to say that this is cleanup time. Perhaps here is where the flower essence community can be part of the solution by renewing, restoring, and celebrating our wondrous relationship with nature and earth. By its very nature, our community is focused on the dialogue which nature continuously has with us, as she shares her healing imprints from flowers, trees, and sacred environments. The combined effect of so many across the planet who take flower essences and make flower essences makes a difference. We, in fact, are altering the very vibration of ourselves, the planet, and everyone in it. Playing with flower essences, (and yes, I mean play), we open our hearts and minds to the unity which is everywhere, and this becomes a magnet. It is as if a subtle and heavenly scent in the air is so contagious that it transforms everything, everywhere. How often have you noticed that when you are taking flower essences for your own unfolding, everyone around you is getting it too, simply by being in your vibrational field? And essences, being vibrational by their very nature, touch everything, everywhere in this dance.
 Having spent much time in ancient forests and other sacred sites over the years, I see that it is imperative for us to become ecologists as well as flower essence practitioners. My Ancient Forest Essences are born out of a profound relationship with nature. They are made within the environments of some of the world's most beautiful and powerful natural forests. They are created in the time-honored way, in the tradition of essence making. Made with awareness and care within the sacred groves, these unique Essences vibrate with mysterious healing qualities of these profound environments.

 ABOUT THE AUTHOR: Sophia Katy Savich is a graduate of the University of California at Berkeley, and has her Master's Degree in Creative Writing from Summit University of Louisiana. She is also certified as a Rosen Method body worker. It was while studying body work that she was introduced to Bach Remedies.Since 1982 Sophia has explored and played with flower essences, drawn by their subtle and magical gifts. As she immersed herself in flower essences Sophia re-awakened to her love of nature. In 1992, Ancient Forest Essences was co-founded with Richard Witteman. Their love of trees called forth a response of service and dedication to help remember our profound connection with the ancient forests, and to receive their many gifts and offerings which are waiting to recognized and shared.
